  2. Book fee: Pre-K & Kindergarten book and supply fee is $150.00 per student; book fee for 1st and 2nd is $200.00; 3rd through 6th grade is $250.00 per student.
  3. Tuition: $3,250.00 for 1st child in each family, $3,200.00 for 2nd and subsequent child.

Registration Fee:

  1. The registration fee represents an initial payment to reserve a place in the school for the new school year for existing students and for students of new families.
  2. The board will set registration fees no later than January 31st for the next school year. There will be an early registration fee for those registering by April 15; anyone enrolling April 19 or later will pay the normal registration fee. The registration fee is per child and applies to all students of both existing school families and new families. Students enrolling during the school year are required to pay the registration fee.
  3. The registration fee is a non-refundable fee, except under the following conditions:
    1. If a family withdraws their enrollment application prior to the interview.
    2. If a family decides not to enroll during the family interview and advises the interview team at the conclusion of the interview, or if the family is not accepted to the school as a result of the interview process.
    3. If the family applies for financial aid at the time of paying the registration fee or within two weeks of being accepted for the upcoming school year, and the financial aid committee determines that the family does not qualify, or aid money is not available, or the aid available is not sufficient to cover the costs the family cannot afford to pay, the registration fee will be refunded if the family decides not to send their student(s) and advises CCS in writing of this within two weeks of being notified of the availability and amount of financial aid CCS is able to provide.
  4. The Finance Committee must approve any exceptions to this registration fee policy.

Tuition: Crossville Christian School collects tuition directly from its student families. Each student family is required to sign an Enrollment Contract for the school year. All parents, except those paying tuition in full by August 1st, must enroll in the Tuition Refund Program offered at CCS.

  1. Tuition payments are due by the 1st day of each month. All other payment schedules must be approved in writing (in advance) by the CCS Finance Committee.
  2. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, beginning in August for 10 months for those paying on a monthly basis. For those choosing a semi-annual payment plan, payments are due by August 1st and January 1st.
  3. A $20.00 late charge is billed for payments received after the 10th of the month
  4. If there is an outstanding balance, after the initial period designated by CCS, (30, 60, 90 days etc.) and no plan has been submitted for payment, parents will be sent a letter advising them of the delinquency and stating that their child’s/children’s continued attendance at CCS is in jeopardy.
  5. If there continues to be an outstanding balance after the next initial period designated by CCS, with no approved payment plan, the child or children will be dismissed from the school. No records will be transferred until all outstanding balances are paid.
  6. At the end of the school year, report cards and other records will not be distributed if a family has an outstanding balance due CCS.
  7. Tuition payments can be made either at the CCS front office or directly to the business manager.

Book Fee:

  1. This fee is due by June 15th. This is to pay for books to be used during the new school year.
  2. For new students applying after June 15th, the book fee is due immediately upon notification of acceptance to the school.
  3. No books for your child/children will be purchased until payment is received.
  4. If the book fee is not received by June 30th, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed for special ordering of books. Families enrolling after June 15th will incur a late fee if the book fee is not received within 30 days after their acceptance to CCS.
  5. The book fee will be refunded if the family decides their children will not attend CCS in that year if the consumable books have not yet been ordered or if another student can use the consumable books. If the books cannot be used during the year in question, the family has a choice of receiving the books or receiving a limited refund less any restocking and transportation charges, once CCS has received a refund from the publisher.
  6. Book fees cannot be prorated by entrance date. All students who enter CCS at any time during the school year are responsible for the full book fee. It is also important to note that book fees do not only pay for your child’s consumable books. The book fee assists the school in updating our non-consumable textbook editions throughout our curriculum and all grade levels, therefore only the consumable books may be returned if the child ceases to be enrolled at CCS during the school year; it also covers the cost of IOWA testing.

Financial Aid:

  1. A limited number of scholarships are available for our students. Families should also explore other financial assistance options, such as their church, family, and employer(s).
  2. Financial aid must be applied for in writing. Scholarship applications must be completed annually by the family.
  3. To be considered for a CCS scholarship, the financial aid application must be completed and returned to the CCS office within 2 weeks of receiving the child’s acceptance letter for the school year.
  4. Scholarship applications will not be processed until the child has been accepted to CCS.
  5. It is important to consider that Stewardship Hours (volunteer work) may be required. If stewardship hours are required, the Scholarship Committee will designate the number of hours to be completed during the academic year. CCS administration reserves the right to designate how those hours are to be served.
